![]() TESTIMONIALS"Thank you very much for showing us your wonderful establishment. We were very impressed and have to congratulate you on creating such a homely atmosphere which exceeded all our expectations". Richmond Kessie - Accommodation Development Officer, Haringey 6th August 08 "Congratulations to Queen Ann Care on their expansion, it is so reassuring to see that although they have expanded, the care for their clients has not changed! My brother has improved many times over. His confidence has improved and whenever I speak to him I now get a reply of full sentences. Well done Queen Ann Care, I wish you all the best for the future". M. Bansfield-Young |
Queen Ann House - established 1983
In 1990, the adjacent building became available, and was open to offer support and care for a further seven clients. There is a staff to client ratio of approximately four clients to one staff member. Queen Anne House is a "Residential" care home and is inspected by the CSCI (Commission for Social Care Inspection). The reasons some clients may need residential care, as opposed to one of our other care settings, is because they have long term chronic mental, physical and medical health needs. We have a vast garden facility at this site that was designed and is continually maintained by a local gardening company. One of the benefits of Queen Ann House is that clients have access to a quite and peaceful area where they can relax or spend time with family and guests. Members of Queen Ann House, also have access to a games room. This room consists of a fully operational pool table, a dart board and a table football game. Additionally, there is also a vast supply of board games and reading material. In the games room, we also have various exercise machines as we believe that physical health is equally as important as mental health. |
